When Success Changes Meaning
Does achieving the things you once dreamed about change what you want from life? At what point do your priorities begin to shift?
A personal invitation for Adel Mardini
A personal invitation to join me for a conversation about life, ambition, people, and everything beyond the Jetex story.
Adel, your journey with Jetex has been shared in interviews around the world. But what interests me most is something different.
The perspectives you've developed, the experiences that have shaped your thinking, and the things you've learned about people, success, and life along the way.
Not another company interview. A conversation worth having.

01 / A note from me

A personal invitation, not a mass email. Here's why I'd love this conversation.
Through my own work in private aviation, I've had the opportunity to experience a small part of an industry you've helped shape.
I've also come across your interviews, and there's no shortage of conversations about Jetex, its beginnings, or how far the company has come.
But that's not really why I'm reaching out.
What interests me is how someone with your experiences sees the world.
When you've spent years building a business, making important decisions, meeting people from different walks of life, and experiencing different parts of the world, I imagine you develop perspectives that go far beyond your industry.
And that's what I'd love to explore.
What has changed your mind over the years? What have you learned about people? Has your definition of success changed? And what still makes you curious?
I'm not looking for rehearsed answers or another retelling of your business journey.
I'd much rather have a genuine conversation, exchange perspectives, and see where it takes us.
I believe those are often the conversations that stay with people.
Would love to make it happen.

Achievements tell us what someone has built. Conversations help us understand how they see the world.
Does achieving the things you once dreamed about change what you want from life? At what point do your priorities begin to shift?
After meeting and working with people from so many different backgrounds, what have you learned about human nature that surprised you?
What's something you strongly believed ten years ago that you see completely differently today?
When you've accomplished so much, what continues to excite you? What are you still curious about, and what do you still want to discover?
A few possibilities, not an agenda. We'd follow wherever the conversation takes us.
03 / A signature moment
Sometimes the most interesting moments happen when a conversation moves away from the prepared questions.
One thought leads to another. A simple story changes the direction of the discussion. And suddenly, you're talking about something neither person expected.
That's the kind of conversation I enjoy.
Not just learning what someone has accomplished, but understanding how they think.
04 / A glimpse of the series
Every conversation brings a different way of seeing things. Sometimes we discuss business, sometimes life, and sometimes ideas we didn't expect to explore.
That's what makes each conversation interesting.
Perspective, presence, and making each day matter.
Ideas, practical tools, and the entrepreneurial journey.
The human connections at the heart of business.
A thoughtful conversation about everyday happiness.
Communication, understanding, and navigating difficult moments.
Exploring the financial side of building a business.
Previous guests
An open conversation about business and the experiences that shape us.
Beyond the surface: ideas, difficult choices, and lessons worth sharing.
A seat in the conversation
Think of it as an hour of genuine curiosity, interesting ideas, and an exchange of perspectives. There's nothing special to prepare, and no particular story you need to tell. We'll have a few interesting starting points, but the conversation can go wherever it naturally takes us.

05 / The experience
You'll be giving me about an hour. My aim is for it to feel less like an interview and more like the conversation you enjoy after the cameras are off.
Approximately 60 minutes, with no formal presentation required.
Thoughtful questions, interesting perspectives, and space for spontaneous discussion.
We'll personally coordinate the recording at a time that works best for Adel.
06 / Your invitation
Not to repeat the story everyone already knows, but to explore the ideas, experiences, and perspectives that make your journey interesting.
I think we'd have a great conversation.
If this sounds interesting, there's no need to find a time just yet. We'll coordinate everything personally around your availability.
Excited to hear your perspectives. — Avatar
